Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc. has created and adopted a Covid Safety Plan and a set of Covid Safety Rules that all members must adhere too. 

Waverley - a Covid Safe Centre

We expect all our families to follow these COVID Safe Protocols

• QR Code Sign In - compulsory (save time by loading WLAC Code as a favourite in Services Vic App)
• Show QR Code Tick to the Covid Safe Official at the sign in table - compulsory or fill in form at table
• DO NOT ATTEND IF FEELING UNWELL, AWAITING A COVID TEST RESULT, ISOLATING OR CLOSE CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO IS AWAITING COVID RESULT OR ISOLATING
• Maximum limit - n/a   Spectators - no more than 30 in a group       No dogs allowed
• All athletes required to have at least one parent/guardian in attendance at ALL times
• All attending parents/guardians need to help out with the athletics program, so that the program runs smoothly and to time
• 1.5m social distancing unless in same household/family group
• Adults and athletes 8 years and older required to carry a face mask and wear when unable to socially distance from others or indoors
• Use supplied hand sanitiser, wipes, sanitiser sprays frequently and before/after handling equipment
• Toilets in pavilion accessible - otherwise NO access inside pavilion
• No age group trolleys - athletes required to carry around their own drink bottles, hats, jackets in a small bag
• Athletes will be competing within their age groups - keep distance of 5m between groups
• Council Water Bubbler only available to fill up water bottles
• Bananas supplied by COLES (National Sponsor) - on hold
• Canteen/BBQue will only be able to operate with 6 volunteers, to ensure COVID-19 safe practices are followed
• Uniforms sales available - $40 cash or EFT
• WLAC Covid Safe Marshalls are wearing pink vests and will move around events to ensure we are being Covid Safe
