Good morning to all our magnificent WLAC families,

Welcome to Week 5, sorry for having to cancel last Saturday but the weather was feral so it was best that we postponed.  This week we are running a slightly smaller program with expected lower numbers due to the long weekend. In light it might be a washout again on Sat, and also it is a long weekend, with less numbers, an easy program to run.

With the weather expected to be poor, please keep an eye on emails, Facebook and teh website for up to date information, we are forging ahead at this stage, but a final decision will be made early Saturday morning.

Saturday morning set-up is from 7:30am, this week Under 9s parents are on duty to help set-up, we will need 3-4 at minimum to get the arena ready for competition.  As always, many hands make light work so please don't leave everything to others to do.

Make sure your name is put on, either online or written down on Sat morning. We are keeping track of parents fulfilling their duty requirements this season.


Mark’s throws coaching on Thursday afternoon is changing to 5 – 6 pm from Thursday 31st Oct.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT ANY COACHING SESSION 10 MINS BEFORE IT STARTS, to get the full benefit of the session and as a curtesy to the coaches.

Information has been emailed out to U8 – U16 families. If interested, please register or respond to Katy's email.

This Monday 4th Nov, Simone will be running relay coaching 4.30 – 5.30 pm. We may also have some relay coaching on Wed afternoon with Hannah and Angela, 4.30 – 5.30 pm. All welcome regardless if participating in the relay events.


Postponed till Sat 9th Nov.

That's all for this week, we will see the Under 9 parents for set-up from 7:30 and the rest of you from 8:30 for 8:45 warmup and 9am start.
