News - 2016/2017

A big High 5 to our athletes that competed at the State Cross Country Championships at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin  yesterday (Sat 23rd July), on a freezing cold windy day  (it was worse than the region championships which was pretty cold).  It was an exciting cross country course with lots of mud, water and cow pats!! and some races had over 60 athletes competing. 

Congratulations to Luke Cooke (U9 boys 1500 m) for coming 24th, Nichola Muser (U10 girls 1500m) was 17th, Bradley Fudyma came 4th – well done (U11 boys 2000m), Liam O’Rourke 25th (U10 boys 2000m), Sophie O’Sullivan 1st – well done (U14 girls 3000m) and Isabella Griffin 23rd (U14 girls 3000m). 

Thank you to Jo Hall for being our team manager again and Michelle O’Rourke for being assistant team manger.
