News - 2015/2016

Have you enjoyed this summer season of Little Athletics at Waverley? 

A number of our current committee members will be retiring at the AGM due to their children no longer continuing or due to work commitments so we need new people to step up.  If we do not get enough positions filled then the Centre will be unable to operate. 

We are currently seeking a Treasurer (looks after the money), Registrar (looks after the registrations), Vice President (assists the president), Coaching Coordinator (arranges coaches), a Region Delegate (goes to Southern Metropolitan Region meetings once a month as well as our committee meetings), someone to look after the computers and results, someone to update the website and social media and a Centre Mentor (to ensure that our parents have suitable training). 
I will ensure that any new committee member gets suitable training for their role - you do not need to know how to do it before joining. I know I didn't when I joined the committee in 2008. 

Please contact me, or any member of the committee if you are interested in helping us to keep the Centre running. 

Results for this week have been entered and I have received photos for a few weeks and I will upload these over the next few days. Low quality photos will be viewable through this website and full resolution will be available for purchase through GeoSnapShot.
