News - 2015/2016

As you embark on a busy week with the Australia Day holiday and the first day back at school for many students, hopefully you can fit in a spot of athletics! 

This week it's a twilight competition on Thursday night. The program is attached. Given that we didn't run the program yesterday, we will have the Walks program operating. Unfortunately the rain persisted yesterday until after 11am, so the right call was made to cancel early. Note that we won't be using the Sprint Track this week. 

KEY OFFICIALS 

If you can't make this week, please let me know ASAP, so that I can arrange cover, if possible.  

FIRST AID 

Peter Cooke will be our First Aid Officer this week - thanks again Peter. 

STATE MULTI EVENTS 

Good luck this coming weekend to those 8 athletes competing in Bendigo.

Don't forget to check the lists to see if you've won a free icy pole! While your there, please collect your Sports Pass membership card if you haven't already received - these are for athletes only. 

COMMITTEE 2016 

We need you! Yes we are calling for anyone interested in contributing to the running of the club behind the scenes. A number of positions may become vacant at the upcoming AGM, so fresh faces are required!! A general committee position initially allows you to learn, and greater responsibility can be taken on later. Please speak to the existing committee if you are interested. 

FOR SALE 

Nike Blue waffles for sale. Size US8, UK7 EUR 41, 26cm. Clean and in good condition with plenty of tread left. Used by Marcus - who was part of the record breaking Pinewood Primary U12 relay team in 2015. They are fast shoes. They have his name written on the inside sole but it can be written over or scrubbed out. They measure 28cm from the heel to toe on the outside sole.
