The Athletics Australia & 43rd Annual Racewalking Australia Championships will be held this weekend at Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra. Victoria’s largest ever team (82) will compete over various distances and age groups from u10 - Open age and distances from 1km to around 33km (20 miles). The cream of Racewalking in Australia will all be there including Olympians Jared & Claire Tallent, Nathan Deakes, Chris Erickson, Luke Adams, Cheryl Webb and young “rising star” - ex Little Athlete Jess Rothwell - all in final preparations before World Championship events over the next few months.

Good luck to Paige DeLisen - u12 2km, and Charlee Harrison - u10 1km, who will represent the Victorian Racewalking Club for their first times
