Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc.

This week our competition is on Thursday night, the second of our twilights for the season (State Relays on Saturday).

Program start time is 6pm (warm up commencing at 5.45pm). The program is a shortened version of Program 2.

 

Early set up to commence from 5pm, so if you can assist it would be appreciated - we only need set up the circular track timing gates and all field events.

This week we will be using the circular track timing gates only. Note that U6 & U7 70m will be on the circular track.

 

I have already been made aware that some key officials will be absent this week, as follows;

- Anna Di Medio (U12 AGL)

- David Coleman (U7 AGL)

- Andrew Rennie (Starter & Javelin Event Official)

- John Shone (BBQ)

 

We will be light on for parent helpers, so if you can assist on the night, that would be terrific. First Aid is covered by Peter Cooke.

 

If you missed last week's presentations, I will be handing out medals to those eligible on Thursday night.

 

Good luck to all our representatives from the U10 & U11 Age Groups, who will be representing the club on Saturday. We have several strong medal chances.

We will need parent helpers to fill in for the general official role as required during the day.

 

Our final week for the year will be held next Saturday 19 December. Program is flexible and includes parents/athletes race over 70m and distance.
